Stephen Snedden
Stephen is a third-generation resident of Bonner County and a 1997 graduate of Sandpoint High School. He has degrees in political science and computer science from Seattle Pacific University. He subsequently studied at Pepperdine University for his law degree. Stephen serves on a number of boards and advises multiple non-profits. In 2011, he was awarded the Doris Day Pro Bono Award by the Idaho State Bar for outstanding legal service to the community.
Stephen is finishing a four-year term on the Sandpoint City Council. He is the founder of Bonner County Young Professionals and devotes time to his pet project, the Pend d’Oreille Bay Trail – a mile-long trail along the shore of Lake Pend Oreille. In the wintertime, Stephen patrols for Silver Mountain or skis Schweitzer Mountain Resort. In the summertime, he sails when the wind blows.
Stephen’s family is located in Sandpoint, Idaho; San Diego, California; Fort Bragg, North Carolina; and Post Falls, Idaho. He has three nieces – they are beautiful.
